A Linda man was hospitalized Thursday after wrecking a motorcycle on Ostrom Road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Daniel P. Peck, 50, was taken to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center just after 10 a.m. with "major facial injuries," the CHP said. He was listed in serious condition, hospital staff said.
Alcohol or drug use may have been a factor, the CHP reported.
Peck purchased a 2012 Harley Davidson just one day ago, but did not have a motorcycle license, the CHP said.
Peck was heading east around 50-55 mph when his bike ran off the road and he was ejected, the CHP said.
