Meth bust in casino lot
Two men identified as Sutter County residents are under arrest on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine inside motor homes that were parked at a Northern California Indian casino.
State drug agents said 30-year-old Michael Taylor and 35-year-old Eric Selvidge drove the vehicles to a remote area of the parking lot at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville.
Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force Commander Carl Sturdy said a state gambling inspector spotted suspicious activity at the motor homes and alerted drug agents.
A search turned up methamphetamine and materials used to make meth. Agents say the labs were equipped to make a half-ounce of meth at a time, an amount that has a street value of about $1,400.
The two men are in Butte County Jail.

Legion hosts craft show
American Legion Post No. 42 is sponsoring a craft show and sale May 31 at the Marysville Veterans Memorial Building, 17th and B streets, Marysville.
The show is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Antique fair space available
Booth spaces are still available for the 19th annual Marysville Antique and Collectible Street Fair planned June 1 in downtown Marysville.
Antiques, collectibles, entertainment and information booths will be showcased on D Street from First to Third streets. Sales benefit the Yuba Oaks Business Academy.

Traffic slowed for road work
Traffic is restricted on Lindhurst Avenue from Scales Avenue to Erle Road in Linda through early July due to road construction under way.
Motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes, with traffic restricted to one lane at a time.
The area's improvements include utility relocation, the installation of asphalt concrete, shoulder improvements and the placement of a storm drain line. For more information, contact the Yuba County Public Works Department at 749-5420.
