Sacramento airport passengers are seen walking to their flights on Thursday after a people mover problem.

People mover problem delays flights at Sacramento airport

From CBS 13:  The People Movers are moving people again at Sacramento International Airport, but it may be too late for some passengers.

For the third day in a row, some passengers have been delayed at the airport due to some sort of incident.

This morning, the People Movers, which take passengers from the landside to airside concourse at Terminal B, malfunctioned forcing travelers to walk across a ‘guideway.'

At one point, all flights were halted ten minutes and the ‘guideway’ cleared as airport officials worked to reboot the People Mover system.

By 10:15 a.m., the People Movers were back up and running and by 10:50 a.m. the backup had been cleared. However, since flights could only be held for ten minutes, some passengers may have missed their flights.

Check back on the CBS 13 website this afternoon for updates.
