Police warn about scam

The Willows Police Department is warning residents that a  juvenile is going door-to-door asking donations for the Willows High School soccer team without proper authority.

Acting police Chief Jason Dahl said he was told Tuesday morning that the unknown juvenile, or juveniles, have been telling people the money is to send the soccer team on a trip to Hawaii or other locations.

Willows police have confirmed with high school administrators that there are no ongoing fundraising efforts of this nature for any of the sporting activities or clubs.
