The fatal shooting of Kevin McCoshum by Yuba City police officers was found legally justifiable by the Sutter County District Attorney's Office, authorities said Monday.

A statement released by Jana D. McClung, Sutter County assistant district attorney, said authorities discovered a suicide note written by McCoshum and that McCoshum's fiancee told investigators that she knew he was going for "suicide by cop."
