Floyd W. Beevers Jr.


Floyd W. Beevers Jr., 73, of Marysville died May 10, 2002, at his residence.


Born in Waco, Texas, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 49 years. He


was a retired carpenter and served in the U.S. Army during World War


II.


Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelynn Beevers of Marysville, and


two grandchildren.


Services: No services will be held. Arrangements are


under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services.


William P. Cliver


William Paul Cliver, 52, of Marysville died May 7, 2002, at his residence.


Born in Winslow, Ariz., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 30 years.


He worked in insurance sales and was a member of the Abell Lodge 146


Free and Accepted Masons.


He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the 101st Airborne


Division.


Survivors include four daughters, Terease Cliver of Guerneville, Deanna


Burnett of California, Virginia Cliver of Hawaii and Destany Davis of


Ukiah; a son, Robert Cliver of Ukiah; his mother, Billie Cliver of Marysville;


three grandchildren; and his companion, Sherell Brunken of Marysville.


He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Cliver.


Services: A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements


are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services.


Joseph E. Griffin Jr.


Joseph Eugene Griffin Jr., 77, of Paradise died May 14, 2002, at Cypress


Acres Convalescent Hospital in Paradise.


Services: Services are pending with Ullrey Memorial


Chapel and Crematory.


James E. Rogers III


James E. Rogers III, 31, of Reno, Nev., died May 15, 2002, at St. Mary's


Hospital in Reno.


Services: Services are pending with Holycross Memorial

Beverly J. Thacker


Beverly Jean Thacker, 50, of Clovis died May 12, 2002, at her residence.


Born in Fresno, she was a former Yuba-Sutter resident. She worked for


the Internal Revenue Service as a data transcriber for 12 years.


Survivors include her husband, David Thacker of Clovis; a son, Aaron


Perry Thacker of Clovis; her parents, Gene Johnson of Dallas, Ore.,


and Ruth and Harold Wallers of Clovis; four sisters, Brenda Walls of


Yuba City, Barbara Crosby of Pittsburg, Charolotte Yelkin of Fresno


and Sharon Wallers of Clovis; and a brother, Jonathan Wallers of Clovis.


Contributions may be made to the Aaron Perry Thacker trust fund, in


care of Clovis Community Bank, 600 Pollasky, Clovis, CA 93612.


Services: Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7


today at Heritage Funeral Services in Fresno. A funeral service will


be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Clovis Pentecostal Church of God, 395


Peach Ave., Clovis. Burial will follow in Clovis Cemetery.


Evelyn A. Yank


Evelyn A. Yank, 89, of Yakima, Wash., died May 11, 2002, at her daughter's


residence in Yakima.


Born in Rosalie, Neb., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for more than


20 years before moving to Washington. She was a retired executive secretary


for the State of California Disaster Office. She was a member of the


National Secretaries Association.


Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Inez Blankenship of Yakima;


a son, Clyde McKean Yank of Albany, Ore.; a brother, Bert Andersen of


Yuba City; a sister, Inez Pease of Escondido; two grandchildren; and


four great-grandchildren.


Services: Visitation is scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m.


Saturday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted


at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sutter Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Vincent of Loma


Rica Community Church will officiate.
