State GOP opens Yuba City office

Congressional candidate Kim Vann, Assemblyman Dan Logue and retiring US Rep. Wally Herger were among those on hand for the formal dedication on Monday of the Victory 2012 headquarters for the California Republican Party in Yuba City. The office, which will be active through Election Day, is the northernmost such outpost for the state GOP, which is hoping to retain local state legislative seats and win a Democratic-held seat in Congress.
