A Caltrans truck collided with a Nissan Altima in Linda Thursday morning, sending two people to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of the Altima, who was not identified, was headed west on Feather River Boulevard at the intersection with North Beale Road when the car collided with a truck making a left turn from eastbound Feather River to northbound North Beale at about 8:50 a.m.

Both the driver of the Altima and a child who was a passenger complained of pain and were taken by ambulance to Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, along with another child passenger who was unharmed, according to the CHP.

The driver of the Caltrans truck was unharmed, said Officer Wendy Bowling. She said it was still unclear why the accident happened.
