The body of a Yuba City woman was found early today hanging by a nylon rope from a train trestle near Live Oak Boulevard and Pease Road, according to the Sutter County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded at 9:35 a.m. and found the approximately 50-year-old woman hanging by the neck from the trestle west of the Feather River levee.

Foul play is not suspected, said Detective Jon Duffy.

The woman's identity was withheld until relatives are notified. She lived in the 500 block of Scirocco Drive, said department spokeswoman Brenda Baker.
