Majority of schools improve API scores
Kirkwood teacher Talitha MacDonald, who teaches seventh and eighth grade, is one of the teachers who helped the school achieve its 870 API score. Kirkwood Elementary School earned the third highest Academic Performance Index countywide in the state's 2012 API report. First in the county was Lassen View Union Elementary with a score of 899 and second was Evergreen Elementary School with a score of 886.
