Park project bid process goes to council
It has been more than 20 months since the city was awarded a $4.3 million grant for the new community park, but things at the 18.5 acre site between Toomes and Houghton avenues haven't change much since then. That will soon change, said City Planning Consultant John Stoufer.

Park project bid process goes to council.
The final plans and specifications of the city's Community Park Project will be ready to go to the City Council on Tuesday for authorization to go out to bid on phase one.
There have been rumblings around town that the project is taking a lot more time to process than originally thought. .
