Corning city employees: New year in, furloughs out
Corning Public Works Department crew members Troy Grootveld, on the ladder, and Del Brasier on Thursday take down holiday lights from the city water tower. These two workers, along with all city employees, will be able to work 40-hour weeks starting this month with the cancellation of “furlough Fridays.”
