Crews battle invasive plant.
Stalks and stalks of green arundo plants were cut down Monday in a project to curtail the invasive plants growing along Stony Creek.
A 10-member crew with the Glenn County Office of Education's YES Program cleared the plants in an effort to reduce fire danger to the nearby Stony Creek Est.
