Honkers host football camp
The Yuba City High football staff will be holding an instructional camp for 6-13 year old children July 14-17 from 6-8:30 p.m.. Bring plenty of water and drinks to Honker Stadium.
Cost is $40 per child for the camp and a t-shirt.

Hunting
Free hunter safety class offered
A hunter safety class will be put on by Sutter Buttes Sportsman Association on June 27 from 6-9 p.m. and June 28 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Attendance to both meetings is necessary.
Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Bring your social security card.

Fishing
Yuba River fishing access granted
There will be access for anglers to fish on the lower Yuba River on June 28-29, July 12-13 and July 26-27 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m..
The access site is near Browns Valley about 1.5 miles upstream form the Highway 20 bridge.
Anglers can launch car top boats and inflatable flotation devices as long as a trailor isn't used to launch them.
Cheerleading
Car wash rescheduled
Jr. Honkers cheerleading has rescheduled their carwash to June 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It was cancelled due to rain.
Tickets purchased from a cheerleader will be honored for this date.

Softball
Men's softball tourney slated
The Matt Dailey Memorial softball tournament has been scheduled for June 21-22 at the Nelson Complex in Oroville.
The double elimination tournament costs $240 per team of up to 24 players.
The money goes to the Wings of Eagles charity.

State champions team inducted
The Colusa County Hall of Fame is honoring the 1990 Colusa High state championship basketball team on July 12 at the Maxwell Inn at 7 p.m..
