Lessons, clinics set at Mallard
A series of four golf lessons beginning July 10 will take place every Friday at Mallard Lake Golf Center for couples. The cost is $180.
A clinic open to the public will take place on July 18 and 25 from 8 a.m. - noon. The cost is $80.

Nicolaus benefit tourney slated
The River Oaks Golf Club will play host to the first annual Marysville Reserve Police Officers Association tournament. Proceeds will go to the association.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, August 1. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start will kick off play at 8 a.m.
The cost for the event is $100 per person and includes, green fees, a cart, lunch and prizes.

Yuba-Sutter Sting to host tryouts
The Yuba-Sutter Sting, a competitive softball team, will hold tryouts for those 12 and under on Sunday, July 12, 9 a.m. at Abby Field in Marysville.

YC Parks and Rec. puts on camp
The Yuba City Parks and Recreation will host "I'm a Star" soccer camp beginning July 27 and running through July 30.
The camp will be held at the Yuba City High football/soccer field from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and will be open to the public.
The cost is $50 for Yuba City residents and $60 for non-residents. The camp is for ages 5 and older.

North Valley on fundamentals
North Valley Sports Camps will offer a Fundamental Youth Camp for athletes K-8 on July 18-19. Camp fees are $85 before June 29 and $110 after.

Live Oak offers free camp
The City of Live Oak Parks and Recreation Department will hold free tennis camps from July 7 to 17.
The clinics are broken into age groups (5-7,8-11 and 12 and up) and equipment is provided.
