SOCCER
YSYSL accepting applications
The Yuba Sutter Youth Soccer League is currently accepting late applications through August 29 for boys and girls ages 14-18 for 7 on 7 speed soccer. All games are played on Saturdays at the Wheeler Soccer Complex located at the River Bottoms in Marysville. The first game is on September 12.
Cost is $70.

Nor Cal Hustle holding tryouts
The Nor Cal Hustle competitive softball team is holding tryouts for its 18-and-under team for the fall season.
Tryouts will take place at Abby Field at Marysville High from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 30.

Hunting course on Sept. 25-26
The Sutter Buttes Sportsmen Association is offering a hunter's safety course on Sept. 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Attendance at both sessions is required. Students must provide their social security number.

YC Parks and Rec offer football
Yuba City Parks and Recreation are offering youth flag football for ages 8-11 and mighty mite football for 4-7 year olds.

Golfing for Charity tournament set
Peach Tree Golf & Country Club is celebrating their first 50 years for the community with a charity tournament on Sept. 11.
Twin Cities holds scramble
Twin Cities Baseball is holding their annual "Swingin for the Fence" tournament at Plumas Lake Golf & Country Club on Saturday.
The cost is $120 per person, which includes all fees and dinner. There will be several chances to win prizes and money. It starts at 1 p.m.
Chili's/St. Jude's tournamant slated
The Chili's/St. Jude's Children's Hospital Golf Tournament four-person scramble has been set for Sept. 26 at Plumas Lake Golf & Country Club.
The cost is $100 per person. Sponsors are needed for holes as well.
