Sutter Area holds final sign-up
Sutter Area Little League has announced that Wednesday will be the final day for players to sign-up for the upcoming fall ball season.
Interested players can register at Perry Field on Wednesday. The cost is $30.

Volunteers wanted for clean-up day
The Sutter Buttes Sportsman Association is hosting a clean-up day at Spenceville Rifle Range from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Volunteers are desperately needed to make this a sucessful event.

YC Parks and Rec offer football
Yuba City Parks and Recreation are offering youth flag football for ages 8-11 and mighty mite football for 4-7 year olds.

Golfing for Charity tournament set
Peach Tree Golf & Country Club is celebrating their first 50 years for the community with a charity tournament on Sept. 11.
Chili's/St. Jude's tourney slated
The Chili's/St. Jude's Children's Hospital Golf Tournament four-person scramble has been set for Sept. 26 at Plumas Lake Golf & Country Club.
The cost is $100 per person. Sponsors are needed for holes as well.
