LITTLE LEAGUE

More Wheatland all-star teams

The Wheatland-South Sutter Little League recently released its all-star teams. The softball major and minors were left out of Monday's paper

The all stars are, for majors: Ashlyn Bullard, Hannah Capps, Gloria Hicks, Daisy Homann, Hannah Lambert, Skyler Long, Randi May, Tara McMullen, Amy Nichols, Sierra Whelan and Isabella Zarges.

For the minors: Blythe Ducheneaux, Sariah Garcia, Amber Hall, Emily Hicks, Paige Homann, Taylor Jacobsen, Kylee Montgomery, Marissa Parks, Sunny Sanford, Kierra Strickland, Jessica Taylor and Amanda Webb.

Marysville names all-star teams

The Marysville Little League recently named its baseball and softball all-star teams.

The members are, for baseabll majors: Dace Asher, Juan Briseno, Dylan Brown, Chase Collmer, Hayden Cook, Francisco Garcia, Blake Giles, Kenneth Helzer, Stephen Landers, Anthony Lattuca, Jose Meza, Hayden Page and Trevor Spencer.

Minors: Dakota Asher, Thomas Baker, Austin Englehardt, Alex Hall, Chandler Hall, Isaiah Inman, Michael Marquard, Drew Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Parker Sanchez, Riley Terpelle, Malachi Wharry and Logan Wurm.

The softball all-star teams are, for majors: Tressa Arostegui, Anya Bell, Elizabeth Bond, Kali Cano, Amanda Collier, Taylor Ferrari, Brandy Gilliam, Alyssa Hall, Katie Hicks, Adelina Martinez, Juanita Sanchez, Cheryl Sparks and Marmar Terriquez.

Minors: Kennedy Baker, Macy Bartoome, Cassidy Clavelle, Mikayla Friend, Allyson Fur, Savanna Harris, Athena Huett, Cara Irwin, Azja Matta, Rachel McGrath, Katie Terriquez, Destiny Thomas and Reyna Williamson.

WRESTLING

Sutter High camp runs June 20-22

Rutgers University coach Scott Goodale is the chief instructor at the North Valley Sports Camps wrestling camp that will run June 20-22 at Sutter High.

The cost is $100. It includes a mini-tournament on the last day.

CHEERLEADING

Marysville raising money today

Anyone who eats at Bob Romans Pizza/Tscano Subs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. today, and mentions the Marysville High cheerleaders, will benefit the program.

Twenty percent of all proceeds will go to the cheerleader program.

OUTDOORS

Mule Deer event set in Williams

The inaugural banquet and auction for the Colusa-Williams Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation will be held Aug. 9 at the Colusa County fairgrounds.

The cost is $65 for a single and $100 for a couple. It includes membership into the foundation.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m.
