The 133rd annual Bok Kai Festival closes with Bomb Day in downtown Marysville on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Ten rings are shot into the air by exploding firecrackers, or "bombs," and are thought to bring good luck for the coming year.
A 16-year-old male was shot in the leg Sunday in Live Oak at about 7:30 p.m in the 10400 block of Larkin Road, according to Sutter County sheriff's Lt. Butah Uppal. His injuries weren't thought to be life-threatening, according to Uppal.
