Colusa’s boys tennis team concluded the regular season last Thursday with a 6-3 road win over Live Oak.

No. 1 seed Trent Giffin posted a 6-0, 6-2 straight set win while at No. 2 Cameron Telford had a tougher time, but emerged victorious in three sets, 6-1, 5-7, 6-1.

Juan Carlos Casorla also needed three sets, but ultimately defeated his opponent 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 in the No. 4 match.

To round out singles play, No. 6 Marcos Talamantes earned a 6-4, 6-4 win.

On the doubles court, Giffin and Telford triumphed 8-3 while Talamantes and Jose Garcia secured an 8-4 win.

The RedHawks finished 3-6 in the Butte View League and will now compete in the BVL championships, which will be April 25 and 26.
