For the last 45 years, the Super Seven Dinner has recognized the top seven scholars from the junior and senior classes at Colusa High School.
On Monday, 14 students and their parents were honored at the annual dinner sponsored by Torchbearer Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and Lions Club of Colusa County.
The dinner and ceremonies were held in Friendship Hall of Trinity United Methodist Church in Colusa.
Many of the students recognized at the dinner are actively involved in extra curricular activities in addition to their studies.
Most of the Super Seven group also participate in on campus groups such as Future Business Leaders of America, 4-H, Spanish Club, Associated Student Body, and athletics.
Many of the students recognized also have off campus jobs in addition to school.
Most plan to attend college after graduation and plan to pursue various career paths including nursing, computer science, biology, engineering, radiology and information technology.
