Arbuckle Farmers Market


The Arbuckle Farmers Market, hosted by the Arbuckle Revitalization Committee, will open for the summer season today at LaVanche Hursch Park, 308 Fifth St. Each Wednesday until August 28, the market will be offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, nuts, eggs, olive oil, meat, hand-made crafts and community information. Colusa Certified Farmers Market


The Colusa Certified Farmers Market to open for the summer season and will feature several local certified vendors including Premier Mushrooms, Rosita Ranch, Ben’s Grass Fed Beef, Grindstone Wines, Jeffrey’s Ranch Pecans and O’Connell Ranch. The market is opened every Thursday form 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and is located at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of Market and 10th streets in Colusa. The Colusa Certified Farmers Market accepts WIC, senior vouchers and CalFresh as part of the Market Match Incentive Program. For more information, contact Jennifer Diaz at 415-994-9082.


All Colusa County Free Library Branches Closed


All seven branches of the Colusa County Free Library will be closed in observance of Independence Day from July 4 through July 6. All locations will resume their normal business hours and programming on Monday, July 8. For more information, contact the Colusa County Free Library at 458-0373.


Craig Morgan performance


Colusa Casino Resort will host a free performance by country music singer Craig Morgan, open to all guest over the age of 21. The concert will take place in the courtyard outside of the casino, which is located at 3770 Highway 45.  Following the concert, attendees can also enjoy a free fireworks show. Farmers and Ranchers Programs 101

Colusa County Grown will host an informative social hour where attendees will have the opportunity to meet people form a wide range of agencies that have projects and programs aimed to help farming. Summer Play Dates

Monday, July 8

The Colusa Family Resource Center to host summer pay dates each Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Children ages zero to five and their parent or guardian are welcome to get out of the heat and explore the interactive classroom located at 131 5th Street in Colusa.
