Citizens for a Better Williams Golf Tournament

Citizens for a Better Williams to host their second annual golf fundraiser. Tee off begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Arbuckle Golf Club, located at 5918 Hillgate Road. A lunch, raffle and awards ceremony will follow the tournament. All proceeds raised during the tournament will benefit the Citizens for a Better Williams Scholarship Program and the non-profit Karen’s House. Williams Pioneer Day

Citizens for a Better Williams to host the annual Williams Pioneer Day at Redinger Park, located at Ninth and F Streets in Williams. This years theme is “Ag through the ages.” Festivities will kick off with a parade at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at The Sacramento Valley Museum and make its way down E Street before looping back to the park where various vendor booths will be set up. Morning Star Packing will also be sponsoring a fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. For more information, contact Pat Ash at 520-0096.

 

Karen’s House Rib Cook-Off 

Saturday

In conjunction with Pioneer Day, Karen’s House will host the second annual Karen’s House Rib Cook-Off at Redinger park, located at Ninth and F streets in Williams. The cook-off is open to anyone that would like to participate. Food will be served from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Meal tickets are $20 per person and include a ribs, salad, garlic bread, a piece of cake and a bottle of water. Indivisible Colusa meeting

Monday, June 3

Indivisible Colusa to host monthly meeting from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Colusa Chamber of Commerce, located at 2963 Davidson Court. These monthly meetings feature conversations with community leaders about priorities in our area. This months meeting will discuss the joys and challenges of running a small farm and ways the community can support local family farms with speak Jennifer Diaz of Ro.

A social and potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.

This meeting is free and open to the public.
