UnitedAg Health & Wellness Center ribbon-cutting
The UnitedAg Health and Wellness Center will host a ribbon-cutting and open house to celebrate the opening of the new business from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at 412 Fourth St., Colusa. Hor d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided and there will be giveaways and door prizes available. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new center and meet the health providers and staff members. Maxwell High School Rodeo
Grab your hats and spurs! Maxwell High School and the community Rodeo Committee will host the 89th annual Maxwell Rodeo. Many other events will be held in addition to the rodeo including a 3K run, parade, car show, bench press and frog jumping contests and a horse show. Various vendors will also be on site all day as well as local food and refreshments. Games and prizes will be available for the kids. As always, this event is entirely free to the community. Community Resource Fair
Yuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way will host Community Resource Fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Gauche Park, 421 C St., Yuba City. There will be over 65 local nonprofit and government agencies with information low or no cost programs and services for families and individuals. There will also be a free barbecue lunch, Kid’s Fun Run, door prizes and more. For more information, visit www.yscunitedway.org.

The Colusa Meat Market to host a taco cook-off competition at their storefront located at 624 Market St. To enter the competition, entry forms can be picked up at the Colusa Meat Market but spots are limited.
