After a successful "Christmas in October" vendor fair that brought many newcomers to the Arbuckle Golf Club, Loraine Joy is hosting another event this Saturday.

Called "Reason for the Season," Joy — who is a BeautiControl consultant — has invited 10 local women to set up shop at the golf course, just in time for the holidays. She's hosted a variety of shopping events at her home, but this is just the second she's hosted for the public.

"I'm really enjoying having all the women come together," Joy said. "There's so many talented women in this county."

From purses and jewelry to kitchenware to clothing, this event will host a range of vendors that include: Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Thirty-One Gifts, Signature Homestyles, LuLaRoe, Paparazzi Jewelry, Orgami Owl, BeautiControl, pomegranate jelly and candy, and crotcheded kitchen crafts and aprons.

Each vendor is also bringing a raffle prize, with raffles being held every 30 minutes. Each shopper will get a ticket just for coming, and for every $10 spent, they will get another ticket from a vendor.

The golf club will also be hosting a variety of eats — from brunch to soups and sandwiches to wine and mixed drinks. Joy said the event in October was successful and she's expecting another good turnout; she plans on making both of these fairs annual events.

"I love to see them come out, make connections with the public," Joy said of the local vendors. "It's a win-win situation for everybody."
