The Williams police services manager, who was one of four people placed on leave at the police department earlier this year for undisclosed reasons, has been terminated, according to the city administrator.
Eileen Niblack, the department’s former police service manager, along with former Police Chief Ed Anderson and Sgt. Steve Woldanski, was placed on administrative leave in January pending an investigation into confidential internal affairs.
A fourth WPD employee, canine handler Sgt. Jennifer Parker, was also placed on administrative leave in February, with the city again citing an investigation into internal personnel matters.
While Anderson resigned from his position in March, Woldanski and Parker remain on administrative leave at this time.
Williams City Administrator Frank Kennedy has not confirmed yet what is being investigated but said in March that all four absences are tied together and there was no single incident that led to the personnel being placed on leave.
In April, Jim Saso returned to his former position as police chief of the Williams Police Department after serving as the assistant sheriff for the Colusa County Sheriff’s Department.
