The Colusa County Fair will be celebrating 80 years of rides, games, food and sparkling midway lights beginning Thursday at 5 p.m.
The fair will be held at the Colusa County Fairgrounds, located at 1301 Tenth Street, from June 6 until June 9.
Gates will be open Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. until midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. until midnight.
Before 5 p.m., one day admission to the Fair is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 6-12. After 5 p.m., adult tickets are $10 and children’s tickets are $5. Children 5 and under are free and senior tickets are available for $5. Season passes are also available for $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12.

Thursday is Children’s Day at the Fair. Kids under 12 will be admitted for free all day.
During Senior Day on Friday, the fairgrounds gates will open at noon for seniors and senior admission will be free all day.
Active duty and retired military and first responders will receive free admission during the week of Fair. If not in uniform, an official military, fire, or law enforcement photo ID Card or badge must be presented at any ticket booth in order to be eligible.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Fairgrounds office or online at http://www.colusafairgrounds.com/general-information. Tickets are also available at various locations around Colusa County. In Arbuckle, tickets are available at Corona’s, La Altenita and Rise and Grind. In Colusa, tickets can be purchased at Carniceria Las Reinas and Velencia’s. In Williams, tickets are available at El Toro Loco, Shop N Save and La Fortuna Bakery.
Parking is free throughout the entire fair.
