A pair of Corning women were arrested in Vacaville Sunday on various felony drug and firearm charges.
A traffic stop near the Vacaville Premium Outlets on Nut Tree Road just after 12 a.m. on Sunday turned up a large amount of drugs and at least one firearm, the Vacaville Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Corning residents, Jade Bunn, 36, and Jennifer Jensen, 34, both wanted on felony arrest warrants, allegedly attempted to evade detection by giving police officers false names, according to reports.
Officers on scene conducted a search of the vehicle’s trunk, during which police reportedly located and seized several bags of methamphetamine and at least one firearm.
Both women were booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of felony charges of felon in possession of firearm, alter firearm identification, prohibited possession of ammunition, possession of controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of controlled substance while armed, false personation to officer and armed during the commission of a felony. Bunn was also charged with suspicion of committing a felony while on bail and vehicle theft. Her bail was set at $195,000, and Jensen’s at $167,500.
The women were scheduled to be arraigned in Solano County Court on Wednesday.
