WHAT IS THE HARDEST THING ABOUT WRESTLING AND WHY? The hardest thing about wrestling is learning exactly how much your body can take because you will push it to limits you’ve never reached before.

WHO IS OUR BIGGEST RIVAL? HOW WILL YOU PREPARE FOR THAT MATCH? My biggest rival is a girl from Oroville that previously placed eighth in state. I am preparing for that match by working on moves to counter her favorites that I tend to get caught in.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE DRILL AT PRACTICE? My least favorite drill at practice is Dead Mans.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WRESTLING AND WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE WRESTLING TEAM? I have only been wrestling since last November. I decided to join because I have been interested forever and I wanted to be a part of history in the making.

HOW MANY HOURS OF PRACTICE DO YOU PUT IN, IN A WEEK? I put in 10-12 hours of practice a week

WHAT ARE YOUR GOAL’S FOR THIS YEAR? My goal for this year is too just do the best that I can and hope that I inspire the younger generations to get involved with this program.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVE? My favorite move is the cradle or a head-and-arm.

HOW DO YOU PREPARE MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY FOR A MATCH? Mentally, I tend to block everything else out around me and concentrate on what is happening in front of me. Physically, I usually start jogging behind the bench and stretching my legs to get ready.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT THAT YOU CAN RECALL? The most memorable moment I can recall is my first ever match against Chico, I was scared out of my mind.

HOW HAS WRESTLING CHANGED YOU? Wrestling has changed be because I know have so much more respect for those who compete in that sport and have continued to do so for years.

DO YOU SEE WRESTLING IN YOUR FUTURE? I do not see wrestling in my future because of the lack of females involved in the sport. However, I may assistant coach in the future.
