Golf fundraiser for Faith Lutheran Church
Golfers are invited to spend time on the course at the Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Linda and raise funds for Faith Lutheran Church youth to attend summer camps.
The golf course is at 2043 Simpson-Dantoni Road.
The fundraiser on May 13 includes use of the driving range starting at 1:30 p.m.; group instruction at 2 p.m.; golf cart use; some loaner golf clubs available; and nine holes of golfing; plus dinner following at the church at 1000 D St. in Marysville.
The cost is $55 per person.

'Country Fair' is Saturday
First United Methodist Church of Yuba City is hosting a free "Country Fair," open to the public, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at 3101 Colusa Highway.
Activities include paintball, at various age levels; carnival games; face painting; tractor rides; races and barbecue lunch.

100th Jubilee, coronation set
The celebration of Our Lady of Fatima 100th Jubilee and the coronation of Our Lady of Camarin is set May 13 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with a procession at the church, with a bilingual Mass at 9:30 a.m. A reception follows in the parish hall.

Women's Salad Luncheon planned for May 20
The 58th Annual Women's Salad Luncheon is planned from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. May 20 at the First Presbyterian Church, Huston Hall, in Marysville.
Those attending will have a variety of salads to choose from.
Donations requested are $8 per person and $4 for ages 12 years and younger.
The church is Sampson Street and Rideout Way.
The annual luncheon, with the theme "Who is Jesus?" is hosted by the Presbyterian Women Association.

Methodist Church offering free lunch through September
Free lunch every Monday through September is planned at the First United Methodist Church of Yuba City, 3101 Colusa Highway.
The barbecue lunch, from noon-1 p.m. with hamburgers and hot dogs on the front patio, is every week except Memorial Day and Labor Day.
The lunch is one of several activities the church has hosted for the community which have included a bagged meal program, participating with Regional Emergency Shelter Team, creating solar lights and facilitating Mobile Packs for Rise Against Hunger.

California Melody Boys to perform at church
The California Melody Boys are performing May 21 at Lighthouse Christian Center, 5174 Chestnut Road in Olivehurst.
The concert is at the 10:30 a.m. service May 21.
The gospel group has performed for almost 15 years in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Admission is free, with love offerings accepted.
