Vendors sought for crafts fair
Vendor tables are available for the Arts and Crafts Fair set in December at the Marysville First Presbyterian Church.
The cost is $20 per table. All vendors are asked to donate one item toward the fair's raffle.
The fair is from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 3 at the church at Sampson Street and Rideout Way.
The event is also open to the congregation following the worship service from noon-1 p.m. Dec. 4.
Money raised goes to purchase food for the church's emergency food closet to help families in need in the community.

Spaghetti Dinner is Nov. 12
The annual Spaghetti Dinner in Robbins is set from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 12, the opening day of pheasant hunting season.
Served family-style at the Robbins Community Hall, dinner also includes green salad, salami/cheese platters, Italian bread, milk and coffee, plus homemade cakes.
Red and white wine will also be available.
The cost is $13, adult; and $5, child, up to 10 years. Tickets will be available at the door or in advance by calling Mark Richter at 735-6791.
Churches collecting for children
Three Mid-Valley churches are participating in Operation Christmas Child, collecting donations for children around the world who are living in the midst of poverty, war, disease or natural disaster.
Donated items such as toys, school supplies and hygiene items transform 4,300 empty shoeboxes into gifts in the project coordinated by Samaritan's Purse International Relief.
Donations can be dropped off during the national collection week, Nov. 14-21, at:
Cooper Avenue Baptist Church — at 804 Cooper Ave., Yuba City. Collection hours are 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 14-18; 2 p.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 19; 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 20; and 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 21.
Hope Point Nazarene Church — at 600 N. George Washington Blvd., Yuba City. Hours are 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 14-19; 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 20; and 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 21.
Gridley First Baptist Church — at 100 Vermont St., Gridley. Hours are 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Nov. 14-15, Nov. 18-19 and Nov. 21; 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 16-17; and noon-2 p.m. Nov. 20.

Revivalist to lead 'Let's Go!'
Revivalist messenger the Rev. Yardley Wendell Griffin Jr. is leading "Let's Go! Revival!" Nov. 20-22 at Mount Olivet, 2284 McGowan Parkway in Olivehurst.
The revival starts at 7 p.m. each day, with refreshments available from 6 p.m.-6:45 p.m.
The event's theme is "Give Thanks — 1 Thessalonians 5:18."
Griffin Jr. is pastor of Destiny Church of Sacramento and a gospel recording artist.

Theater to perform 'Post'
Creative Light Theater is presenting an original musical drama, "Freedom Post," in December at the Church of Glad Tidings, 1179 Eager Road, Yuba City.
The drama is set in 1862 in the American South with a new postmaster in Fairfax, Va., and runaway slaves making their way north.
The production is at 7 p.m. every day Dec. 9-13. Admission is free.
