Fall Festival is free

Free hot dogs and chips, candy and games are featured at the Cooper Avenue Baptist Church Fall Festival Oct. 31 in Yuba City, open to all ages.

Those attending are asked to not wear scary costumes, especially masks.

The festival, with everything free, is from 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Hall and classrooms. Activities include bounce houses, souvenir photos and visits from the Yuba City police and fire departments.

The church is at 804 Cooper Ave., with its parking lot on Clark Avenue next to the Sutter County Library.


Harvest Festival features costume contest

Sutter Community Church is hosting a Harvest Festival from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Oct. 31 at 2900 Acacia Ave., Sutter.

Activities include a costume contest for kids and free carnival games candy, food and prizes.

Games at Kids Fall Festival

Camelot Kids Fall Festival is set from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Oct. 28 at Calvary Christian Center in Yuba City.

The event includes games, candy and prizes, a petting zoo and horse rides, a drama presentation and giant inflatables.

Event tickets are $4 for children and youths ages 2 to 16 years; and free for children under 2 years and adults.

Meal tickets on the day are $4, kids meal; and $10 barbecue meal.

The church is at 2620 Colusa Highway.


Church offers free dinner

The First United Methodist Church in Marysville is serving a free community dinner from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 28.

The church is at Eighth and D streets.
