Caltrans has scheduled work on several projects for this week.

Here’s what drivers can expect:

Glenn County

short-term project

  • State Route 162: Between the Sacramento River overflow and Campbell Slough, motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. today through Friday for bridge work.
  • State Route 162: Between Nye Creek Branch and Tehcol Canal, motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. today through Friday for drainage work.

 

Butte County

short-term projects

  • State Route 32, or West Eighth and West Ninth streets: At Walnut Street, motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 9:30 p.m.-6 a.m. today through Thursday for utility work.
  • State Route 32: Between Gianella Road and Pine Creek Lagoon, eastbound motorists can expect the right shoulder closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday for utility work.
  • State Route 70: Between Grandview Station and Pulga, motorists can expect a full highway closure from 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. today through Friday for emergency work related to the Camp Fire.
  • State Route 99: Between Entler and Eaton Road, north- and southbound motorists can expect the No. 2 lane to be closed from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. today through Thursday for striping work.
  • State Route 99: Between the North Chico overhead and Lassen Avenue, northbound motorists can expect full ramp closures from 8 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Thursday for striping work. Southbound motorists can expect full ramp closures from 10 p.m. today to 7 a.m. Thursday for striping work.
  • State Route 99: At the Cohasset Highway, southbound motorists can expect full ramp closures from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday for striping work.
  • State Route 99: Between Palmetto Avenue and Lassen Avenue, southbound motorists can expect full ramp closures from 8 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday for striping work.
  • State Route 99: At the State Route 32 junction, southbound motorists can expect full ramp closures from 8 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday for striping work.
  • State Route 162: Between Wilbur Road and Wes Barrett Lane, motorists can expect various lane and shoulder restrictions from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today through Friday for utility work.

 

Colusa County

long-term projects

  • State Routes 20/45: Utility relocation work continues in advance of a $13.5 million project by Caltrans, the City of Colusa and Colusa County to replace the old pavement, flatten the roadway, construct new sidewalks, curbs and gutters and improve drainage between Market Street and Butte Vista Way. Roadway construction is expected to start in 2020.
  • State Route 20/45: Between the intersection of Market and Bridge streets and Country Club Drive, motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today through Friday for utility work.

 

Short-term projects

  • State Route 20: From Salt Creek to 3 Sisters Turn Out, motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday for emergency work.
  • State Route 20: Between San Jose Road and Lone Star Road, motorists can one-day traffic control from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and Friday for emergency work.
  • State Route 45: At Packer Road, north- and southbound motorists can expect the right shoulder to be closed from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. today through Friday for utility work.
