Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain

Construction crew members watch a crane Wednesday during a “topping off” ceremony at the site of the future Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain in Yuba County.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain has officially begun recruiting for its workforce and will host three community sessions to help Yuba-Sutter residents learn more about the process.

The casino just off 40 Mile Road in Yuba County is expected to open late this year.

The sessions are intended to provide details about the property, what jobs will be available and the hiring process.

The first session will be on April 8 between noon-2 p.m. at the Yuba College Theater – 2088 N. Beale Road, Linda. A second session will be later that day between 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Yuba County Government Center – 915 Eighth St., Marysville.

A third session is scheduled for April 9 between 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at Sutter County One Stop’s Boyd Hall – 1895 Lassen Blvd., Yuba City.

Those interested are encouraged to RSVP ahead of attending due to limited space. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
