On Wednesday, April 24, Fox 40 reported a federal judge granted a proposal for PG&E to pay $235 million to its employees in bonuses. How can a utility pay bonuses when it just filed for bankruptcy? If you divide $235 million by 85 deaths in Paradise and eight in San Bruno, you will find each death is $2,526,881.66 worth of bonus money. I feel this judge and PG&E should be held accountable for these ridiculous requests. Spend that money on these victims, not a utility that admits its fault.
