Police are looking for a man they said is a person of interest in an apparent double homicide in Yuba City Friday afternoon.
Yuba City officers were called to report gunshots in the 1200 block of Clark Avenue, said Lt. Jim Runyen. The caller could see the bodies, it was reported.
At the scene, police found two adults inside the home dead of gunshot wounds. They have yet to be identified and Runyen could not provide more information.
Police issued a photo of 19-year-old Diego Martinez. They said he is a person of interest and is wanted for questioning. He may be armed, it was reported. If spotted, 911 should be called immediately. He is between 5-feet-6-inches and 5-feet-8-inches, weighs around 180 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
The state Department of Justice was en route Friday afternoon to assist in processing the murder scene. No arrests have been made yet and police are investigating with developing information.
