Gold Sox first baseman, Tyler Carpenter reaches down to try and tag a base-runner from the South Bay Storm last weekend at Colusa Casino Stadium in Marysville.

The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox returned home on Thursday night to Colusa Casino Stadium as they were able to win their sixth-straight game en route to defeating the California Bees by a final score of 5-1.

After both teams went scoreless through the first two innings, the Gold Sox broke the dam in the bottom of the third as they put up a 3-spot.

From there on out it was all Gold Sox, besides the one run that California would score in the top of the seventh inning.

After Yuba-Sutter added an insurance run in the eighth inning, the Gold Sox closed it out in front of the home crowd in the top of the ninth.

On the mound for Yuba-Sutter was Bailey Daguio who threw four innings, striking out four and allowing just two hits to the 17 batters he faced.
