The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox dominated the South Bay Storm, 15-1, on Sunday at home.

Sunday’s game marked the end of a four-game series in which Yuba-Sutter swept the Storm. 

The Gold Sox kicked things off by scoring six runs in the first four innings before the Storm scored their lone run at the top of the fifth.

However, Yuba-Sutter didn’t stop there and scored another nine runs before the end of the game.

Some of the hitters leading the Gold Sox on Sunday included Kenny LeBeau who went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBIs; Brandon Motheral who was 1-for-3 and scored three runs and had two RBIs; Kyle Boomgarden went 2-for-4, scored two runs and had two RBIs; Isaac D’Agostino who was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI; Nick Simmons went 2-for-5 with two runs; and Mike Shoenberger was 1-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI.

The Gold Sox (12-5) will play against the Reno Rams on the road on Tuesday, June 18.
