The Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox finished out their four game series with the Reno Rams in dramatic fashion on Saturday night at Colusa Casino Stadium.

With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs, Michael Boomgarden was able to reach first base on a single.

Boomgarden then advanced to second on a stolen base putting himself in scoring position for Billy Ralston at bat.

That’s when Ralston  tallied the walk-off hit to bring Boomgarden home and take the game by a final score of 3-2.

Other notable performances included the following Yuba-Sutter players:

-Tyler Carpenter, who had one run and two hits.

-Brandon Motheral, who had one hit and an RBI.

-Isaac D’Agostino, who recorded a walk, a hit and an RBI.

-Drew Rodriguez, who threw three strikeouts while just giving up just one earned run.

Yuba-Sutter will hit the reset button as they face off against a new opponent in the Palo Alto Oaks today at Colusa Casino Stadium. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
