The Sutter High varsity won one of the five matches it played Saturday in the Carmichael Invitational Volleyball Tournament in Sacramento.

The Huskies captured a 25-23, 25-17 decision over Encina in the Bronze Bracket of the event, played at the Jackson Sports Academy in McClellan Park. Later in the bracket they lost to Colusa, 25-18, 21-25, 25-11.

In earlier pool play matches, Sutter lost to Sonoma Valley (25-19, 24-26, 15-5), Lincoln (25-19, 25-17) and West Campus (25-9, 27-25).

Katie Anderson led Sutter in the five matches with a total of 24 kills and 10 digs. Abby King had 11 digs and Bailey Minton had 30 assists.
