An artist reception with Jack Christie, a painter, and Robert Darrough, a fused glasswork artist, is scheduled from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Theater Art Gallery, located at 756 Plumas St., Yuba City. The gallery exhibit is scheduled for June 6-29. The free event will offer complimentary refreshments and coincides with the Downtown Business Association’s First Thursday Stroll.

The 80th annual Colusa County Fair will be at the Colusa County Fairgrounds, located at 1303 10th St., Colusa, from 5 p.m.-midnight. Thursday is Children’s Day at the Fair. Kids under 12 will be admitted for free all day. Active duty/retired will receive free admission during the week of Fair. The Yuba City Certified Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m.-noon at Town Square, located on Plumas Boulevard and C Street, Yuba City. The third annual Car Show-Birthday Bash Celebration will be held at Tracey’s Diner, located at 724 J St., Marysville. Camptonville

Living Earth Show will be held at the Camptonville Community Center, located at 15333 Cleveland Ave., Camptonville, at 7 p.m. San Francisco-based instrumentalists Travis Andrews (guitar and electronics) and Andy Meyerson (on various percussion instruments) will perform as part of the show, which is part of the Sri Moonshine Music Series curated by composer Terry Riley.
