Yuba City

The 25th annual Lobster Feed, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Yuba City will be at 5:30 p.m.-11 p.m. at the Main Exhibit Hall at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds, 442 Franklin Road, Yuba City. Choice of dinner will include Maine lobster or New York choice steak from a local butcher. All dinners include clam chowder, salad, rolls, hot baked potato. Lobster is $60 and steak is $50. A cake auction, silent auction and raffle will be part of the event. All proceeds from the event, which is the club’s main fundraiser, will benefit children in the community.

The 95th Annual Wheatland Pet Parade, presented by the Wheatland Lions Club, will be from 9:30 a.m. at 112 Main St., Wheatland. Judging categories include individuals, organization/group, floats and cars. Registration forms can be picked-up and turned in at Wheatland City Hall, Village Pharmacy, Kelly & Co EXP Realty or Elkins Frosty. The Marysville Kiwanis Club’s annual Jim Watson Youth Fishing Derby for children age 4-15 years old will be from 6:30 a.m.-noon at Ellis Lake, 1205 D St., Marysville.
